Suicide is a heartbreaking reality in today’s world, affecting millions of people and leaving behind deep pain and loss. If you are struggling with thoughts of ending your life, I want to speak directly to you: you are not alone, and there is hope. No matter how dark life seems right now, there is light, and His name is Jesus Christ.
The Lie of Hopelessness
When depression, anxiety, or overwhelming struggles weigh on your soul, it’s easy to believe that there is no way out. The enemy whispers lies, saying, “You’ll never get better,” “No one cares,” or “You’re too broken to be loved.” But these are NOT true.
Jesus tells us in John 10:10:
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
Satan wants you to believe that your pain will never end, but Jesus came so you could have abundant life. Your life is valuable, and you are deeply loved by God.
God Created You with a Purpose
You were not an accident. Before you were even born, God knew you and had a plan for your life. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us:
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
God made you on purpose, for a purpose. Your struggles do not define you, and your pain does not disqualify you from His love. He sees your tears, your hurt, and your suffering—and He cares deeply.
Jesus Understands Your Pain
One of the most comforting truths about Jesus is that He understands suffering. When He walked this earth, He faced rejection, betrayal, loneliness, and excruciating pain. On the cross, He cried out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46).
If you feel abandoned, know that Jesus gets it. He knows what it’s like to suffer, and He promises to walk with you through your darkest moments.
You Are Not Alone
It might feel like no one understands what you’re going through, but you are not alone. There are people who love you and want to support you. Talk to a trusted friend, pastor, family member, or counselor. You do not have to carry this burden by yourself.
The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7:
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
God is inviting you to bring your pain to Him. He is not angry with you. He is not ashamed of you. He loves you unconditionally.
Hope Is Real, and Healing Is Possible
